Visitors can also enjoy a cozy ambiance in the fireplace section while sipping on their favorite cappuccinos. The bar is known for its polite and friendly staff, fast service, and good quality coffee. After waiting a long time I asked another waiter to pay and he told me to go to the bar. Everything was perfect and made our morning.

It's the perfect place for a quick pit stop while exploring the city, and you can also grab some delectable cakes to take home. Kritikos Fournos is a renowned bakery chain in Heraklion, offering a wide variety of delicious pastries and treats. The menu has a great selection including “healthy food”. I used to come frequently for studying and having a sweet on the side. Bread was 9,50€ and pancakes 6€. If you want to try traditional Greek coffee, this is the place to visit.

The bougatsa here is decent, with the goat option being quite cheesy and the spinach variation being slightly salty but enjoyable. Excellent breakfast, with local delicacies served daily from 7am till 11am. In the middle of Heraklion Centre, wonderful access to restaurants and shops in commercial streets.

Don't be fooled from the looks, this local provides amazing service and delicious food. It's definitely worth a visit! They also had local sodas – the cinnamon one was superb. Tasty, sweet and filling dessert dish. The cheese one was good, but the sweet one… absolutely mind-blowing. They have a large variety of Bougatsa καφε ηρακλειο αττικησ (both sweet and savory) at good prices.

SWEET CHOICES

Also, amazing waiter who went extra mile to make the visit special! As I never had traditional Greek coffee before, I can't and won't rate it, but it definitely was an interesting experience. We visited the cafe in the midday heat and before even ordering anything, we got glasses with ice and some cooled water on the house.

Rental Vehicle

The staff were genuinely friendly and always ready to help with a smile, which made our stay really special. The main restaurant is indoors adjacent to the hotel, whilst the popular section is outdoors across a narrow access road, directly on the beachfront. Hotel Restaurant- my review is in relation to the hotel beach-based restaurant. "Maybe next time." Go here if you want just a shade below average value.

Protos Car Rentals has the right to charge you the rental amount corresponding to the number of days that drop-off is delayed in agreement with the rate applicable at that moment in time. Refunds for the unused time of the vehicle or unused extras ( GPS, Baby Seats etc ) within the agreed rental period are not possible in any case. In case of returning the rental vehicle before the agreed return date stated in the rental agreement , refunds are not possible in any case. Up to two (2) hours grace period is being applied to the end of the rental period prior informing us of the delay. The service is kind and friendly, making the experience a breeze.

We would definitely stay here again! Wonderful front desk and restaurant staff! We were in an upgraded room which was also perfect! The location was perfect and accessible to everything we desired to see. The entire staff wore smiles during our stay and aimed to please.
